Creating Projects
Creating Projects allows you to upload, send to retouching and deliver your media assets.
To create a project, first, click Projects from the sidebar, a list will collapse and just click Create Project.
This will load a new page and there are a few things you need to set up.
- Project Name * - the name and reference point of your project.
- Project Address * - the address associated with the project you are creating.
- Client’s Name - select the client you're delivering the project to. You can also assign a project to yourself.
- Client Contact (optional) - you can choose to assign the project to a client contact instead of the main client.
- Deadline Date (optional) - set the date of the deadline for this project.
- Instructions / Notes (optional) - any instructions or personal notes about this project.
- Services - the services you are doing on the project. You can assign yourself or your staff to service. You can then choose to notify the assigned photographers upon creating the project. Related: Project Services.
- Project Invoiceable - This switch allows you to set if the project is invoiceable (will allow you to create invoices for this project) or not. The default option is ON.
* You can either the Name and Address individually or use them both.
If you want to reset all the fields, just click the Clear Form button.
Once everything is set. Just click the Create Project Button.
Adding the Project Address Manually
If you cannot find the address you are looking for on the Google Maps search, you can manually add the address.
- Type the address on the search bar and DO NOT select any of the auto-fill addresses.
- Manually type in the address on the form. Make sure all fields are filled in.
Alternatively, for addresses that are available on Google Maps but the specific Unit or Street Number is not showing up. You can search for the Street and add the Unit from below.
